Royal Wedding

Congratulations to the Royal Couple!

I can see a nap in my near future. Up this morning at 2:30am so as not to miss a minute of the Royal Wedding festivities and what a treat it was. Everything was so beautiful and the memory of the handsome grooms Mother made it very emotional.

Did you watch? What did you think?

  1. So beautiful. My room mate from college , who now lives in NYC called me just knowing I'd be up. LOL! Wishing every happiness to the newlyweds.:)

  2. I started watching at 6am. I got up 30 years ago as a new wife and watched William's mom and dad get married. I guess I'm a romantic because I actually got teary and have high hopes the newlyweds are much happier then Diana and Charles were.

  3. Alas, I didn't watch -- we were THERE -- but not in London, alas in Southhampton trying to get our rental car and then driving to our B and B -- will have to watch reruns tonight on television and it will be so much fun to watch the British take on it!

  4. I tuned in at 4:30 and watched till the end. Loved every minute of it. Can't believe so many people are so negative about it. It was full of tradition and beauty.

  5. Up at 3 - back to bed at 6, and enjoyed every minute of it. I'm such a big Princess Di fan, and this is such a "fairy tale" love story. Princess Di would be very proud! Have a great weekend, Sandi

  6. Martha, how glorious that you were there even if just in the area. Enjoy your time at the B & B.

All, So glad others shared the love of the experience.

  7. It was a magical wedding! They are a striking couple!
I'm trying to play catch up here!
Your family looks lovely at Easter.
Congratulations on your weight loss. Good for you. You already look great!

  8. I was up at 3:00 a.m. Watched it 4 times that day! Still totally obsessed and on the hunt for all things Royal Wedding-related:)

Thanks for leaving a comment. I so appreciate it when you take the time to leave a bit of encouragement.
