Something Is Not Right

While packing to go up north a couple of weeks ago it was a struggle to find shirts to take for John that were not frayed around the edges. That five o'clock shadow wreaks havoc on the collar of his shirts. During the summer he wears polo or golf shirts but when the weather starts to cool off he switches to oxford cloth all cotton button-down shirts. ~
After inventorying the shirts that could be salvaged I placed an order for a fresh batch of shirts to fill in the gaps. The shirts arrived last Thursday so I unpacked the box, took off the tags and gave them a quick press before hanging them in his closet.

Something is not right. Can you tell what it is?

  2. I was going to say that the cuffs are all different lengths.

  3. I guess one shirt is for when he's working "undercover" and using his other name -- LOL! We'll keep his secret!

  4. How funny! Pack it up and send it back.

I need to do the same order for my husband. We always realize how he needs things as we are packing him up to leave town. And that is often!

  6. The cuffs are different lengths AND they made an error on one of the monograms. What a bummer!

I wonder how many men would notice right off the bat?

  7. Where did the "D" come from?

  8. Ha! The cuff with the JJD! How did they manage to do that? Thanks for your sweet comment, Sue! I hope all is well with you. xo

  9. Oh, that's not funny! I would call them and they will have to send you a label to return the one with the D on it or if they send you another shirt and you get to keep the flawed one--you could take a seam ripper and remove the monogram and still use the shirt.
BTW-- Where do you order his shirts from, if you don't mind sharing the info.
    Enjoy your day!

  11. Love the comments! The shirts are from Brooks Brother's. I'm pretty sure they will take the shirt back and fix it. The question is will I ever get around to taking it back......not good I know. More than likely I will take Martha's advice and tell him that he is to wear the shirt when he is undercover. Hee Hee....

  12. I saw that one of the initials was off before I posted and alas I'm not first to pick up on this but it was a bit of fun for a mind teaser. So cute otherwise! Thank you for your comment!!!

  13. You swiped one of JJD's shirts! Maybe JJD took part of the length from the other shirt! LOL!

  14. One is monogrammed JJD!

My husband retired just over a year ago, I miss his button down dress shirt days. Now it's Hawaiian logo tee shirts...EVERYDAY!

  15. That's funny. What if a JJD has a JJG shirt? I do love the photo.
