Fall Nesting Week

Welcome visitors from Melissa's, The Inspired Room, as well as regular readers of Life At Home. I'm so enjoying going around seeing how blogger's are getting ready for fall so thought I would join in with my first change of season table top.
This little house made of paper is one of my favorite pieces so it landed where we could enjoy it the most. It needed something to go with it so the candle holder with 3 spots for candles and the little blackbird that came from the Pottery Barn outlet wrapped around nicely and left some spaces for some old ball jars filled with freshly picked hydrangea branches off the hydrangea tree and a few sprigs of sedum that is just starting to flower.
The view from the back of the house make it a good piece to use in a table setting.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you come back again when you have more time. It has been a pleasure meeting you.

Hugs,
Sue

  3. Hello, How lovely it looks. Here in the UK we dont decorate our houses for Autumn as such, but having read a few of your lovely American blogs it is inspiring me to decorate and add an autumn feel to our sitting room. Ive also just started to cook using pumpkins and squashes, which I didnt think I would enjoy, its Thai red curry (using a squash) on the menu tonight

  12. This is a lovely little house, I like how one can see the inside from the back. So sweet! What a treasure. We are preparing for spring in the southern hemisphere. The spring rains arrived yesterday, everything is dewy and fresh! Such a blessing after almost a decade of drought!
