Mom Update

Good morning Ladies. How was your weekend? We had a fun time here with Aaron and the little ones that are getting bigger every day, as they all tend to do ~ The weather here was so pretty so we spent most of the days outside. One of the good things about the kids getting bigger is that they can, pretty much put on their own sun screen which Grama has a hard time remembering to put on them. They also have all graduated to more easily transferable car seats so while John and Aaron were off shopping for Man things I took the kids out to get ice cream.
Thank you all for your prayers for Mom. She came home from the hospital on Thursday. Dad is taking wonderful care of here as he always does. Their love story is really beautiful and it shows everyday in the way that he loves her. They have been together since they were both in High School and to this day he never lets a day pass without telling here how beautiful she is. When Mom asks the same question over and over again, he takes the time to fully answer each and every time. It is a blessing to all of us to witness the fruit of their 57 year marriage. Even during this difficult time their love shines bright.
Thanks for stopping by.
Hugs and blessing to you all,
Sue

  3. I am glad that your mom is doing better and that your father is a wonderful care given. You can tell in a couples' faces if they are still in love after so many years. In my eyes, that is more romantic than newlyweds.
