The Summer Shuffle

The mirror from the foyer is now in the dining room.

I added a few old leather books to the living room.

It cost me a broken window but finally the trays that I have had for years are hung over the fireplace.
This is a close up of the mirror that I am contemplating for the foyer

So what do you think? Is it a keeper?

  4. Oh la la la! Very pretty home! I like the mirror too. BUT what happened to cause the window break????

  5. Kim ~ The window broke when the window washers were here with their big ladders and I asked one of them to hang the trays for me. When he took it down the end of it smashed into the big window.

Cathy ~ You can visit any time....

    Kelly & Joy ~ Thanks

  13. Ah, Cathy you are sweet. Dana is very busy with the boys, her clients and entertaining me....hehe. She has terrible internet connection at her house on the lake. It takes her forever to upload pictures and half the time they don't come up at all so I think it is just too frustrating for her to mess with most of the time.
I will pass your message along to her.
We are packing for our 4th of July vaca in a rental house up north. Maybe if we remember our cameras we can take before and after pictures of the place when we get it decked out with all our goodies. She can transform a place in short order so that might be fun and I can post it on this blog. We will see.....

  15. Sue,
I really like the new mirror. I think the color adds some punch to the wall. I love to shuffle things up - you are making me look at things in a different way which is wonderful. Great post!

  25. the mirror and the dresser are both for keeps, they are just wonderful, how can you think of letting them go, the ortiental flower pattern on the dresser make it an antique find and the mirror looks too pretty, i love these things
