Happy first day of spring. Isn't this a beautiful time of year? Maybe it is because I was born in the spring that it is my favorite of all the seasons.
Maybe it is because my coloring is Spring according to the color charts that tell you what colors look best on you?
I looked up seasons in the concordance of my Bible and it referenced Hebrews 11:25
Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season:
This passage is from a first century sermon believed to have been delivered by the apostle Paul on about what faith in Christ is and how it is the superior way.
Spring is about new growth, new birth, fresh starts for Gods beautiful creation. Faith in Christ is about new growth, new birth & fresh starts for his beautiful creation of us in His own image. What a glorious image of creation he gives us in the spring to recall to us our own rebirth through faith in the One, the Alpha, the Omega, who created us all.
God created the day and the night; the earth, and the sea; all the plants and the herbs that seeds are in themselves; the sun, moon, and the stars; the fish, and the fowl; all the beasts and the cattle after his kind, and he created man. He gave us all that we need and the seasons are a continuous reminder to those who believe of how great our one true God is, was and always will be. He gave man dominion over all of his creation. Let us be glad and give thanks to our Creator for spring beautiful spring.

One of my grandson's has been staying with us for the past week while his Dad & Mom are on a much needed vacation. This morning he was playing in the living room while I was on the computer. He came into the office and put his little hand on the Bible and said "me read story Grams", so we read:

Psalm 11

In the Lord put I my trust:
how say ye to my soul, Flee as a
A bird to your mountain?

For, lo, the wicked bend
their bow, they make ready their
arrow upon the string, that they
may privily shoot at the upright
in heart.

If the foundations be de-
stroyed, what can the righteous
do?

The Lord is in his holy tem-
ple, the Lord's throne is in heav-
en: his eyes behold, his eyelids try,
the children of men.

The Lord trieth the righ-
teous: but the wicked and him that
loveth violence his soul hateth.

Upon the wicked he shall
rain snares, fire and brimstone,
and an horrible tempest: this shall
be the portion of their cup.

For the righteous Lord loveth
righteousness: his countenance
doth behold the upright.

In response to this Psalm 2 yr. old Blake smiled and said Amen.
