What a wonderful and refreshing visit I had! Your guest house is breathtaking, a wonderful, peaceful retreat if ever there was one! You have an amazing eye.
Are you in Michigan - your Vera Bradley store mention made me think you are? I'm up in Port Austin at the tip of the Thumb!
We leapt headfirst off the corporate ladder last year and moved up here from Columbus, Ohio so I could slop painted roses on antique windows full time and my husband could write.
We love Michigan; it's a beautiful state and this area is so tranquil and beautiful. Despite having lived through Michigan's worst winter since 1880!!!

And if you ever come up to our farmer's market (opening day is tomorrow!) let me know. I know where the best greasy spoon breakfast is and where the cutest little cottage/shabby shop on the PLANET is hidden down a side street (owned by two fabulous and hilarious women from Lapeer).
I just picked up this magazine and have really enjoyed it. I am a huge accessory person and the features called out my name! Your home is glorious and your MB is so delightful. Oh to have a fireplace in the MB. Wow. I love your style...
