The Summer Shuffle
I added a few old leather books to the living room.
It cost me a broken window but finally the trays that I have had for years are hung over the fireplace.
This is a close up of the mirror that I am contemplating for the foyer

Oh la la la! Very pretty home! I like the mirror too. BUT what happened to cause the window break????
ReplyDeleteKim ~ The window broke when the window washers were here with their big ladders and I asked one of them to hang the trays for me. When he took it down the end of it smashed into the big window.
ReplyDeleteCathy ~ You can visit any time....
Kelly & Joy ~ Thanks

ReplyDeleteSue...I found your daighter's blog yesterday and had a peek around! Her home is gorgeous and loved seeing all of the kiddos:)!
ReplyDeleteIs she going to come back or has she given it up?
I can see where she got her wonderful taste!

Ah, Cathy you are sweet. Dana is very busy with the boys, her clients and entertaining me....hehe. She has terrible internet connection at her house on the lake. It takes her forever to upload pictures and half the time they don't come up at all so I think it is just too frustrating for her to mess with most of the time.
ReplyDeleteI will pass your message along to her.
We are packing for our 4th of July vaca in a rental house up north. Maybe if we remember our cameras we can take before and after pictures of the place when we get it decked out with all our goodies. She can transform a place in short order so that might be fun and I can post it on this blog. We will see.....
Hi Sue,
ReplyDeleteAlways love my visit and looking around your beautiful home. Love the new mirror and all your changes.
Have fun up north.
We are headed that way in the near future. My sister lives in Ray, MI and niece is Macomb.
Sue,
ReplyDeleteI really like the new mirror. I think the color adds some punch to the wall. I love to shuffle things up - you are making me look at things in a different way which is wonderful. Great post!

ReplyDeleteWhat a nice time I had visiting your blog posts - beautiful photos and interesting narrative - I'm always looking for the narrative that goes with the photos! I am eternally decorating the guest rooms, so appreciated the view of yours!
ReplyDeleteYep, definitely a keeper. I love that wall paper (the green with pink goats). I always admire it when I come over here.
ReplyDeleteI love that mirror and love the trays over your fireplace. I'm in the process of hanging trays of that style in my family room. Your home is just gorgeous and it looks soooooo clean!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe mirror looks great - good choice keeping it!
